Returns & Warranty Policy

Return Processing

Once your return package has been delivered to our warehouse, please allow 7–10 business days for our Returns Department to receive, inspect, and process your return.

Refunds are issued after merchandise has been reviewed and approved.

Return Eligibility

Most merchandise in new, unused condition may be returned within 90 days of purchase when accompanied by proof of purchase.

To qualify for a refund:

  • Merchandise must be unused and in original condition.
  • All original tags, packaging, manuals, and accessories must be included.
  • Items must be free of dirt, odors, pet hair, stains, or signs of use.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or shipped incorrectly by Campmor.

Footwear Return Policy

To ensure all customers receive new merchandise, footwear may be tried on indoors only.

  • Must be in new, unworn condition.
  • Must be returned in the original shoe box and packaging.
  • Must have all original tags attached.
  • Must show no signs of outdoor wear or use.

Footwear that has been worn outdoors, including on pavement, sidewalks, trails, dirt, grass, gravel, or any outdoor surface, is not eligible for return or exchange.

Please test footwear indoors on a clean, carpeted surface before deciding whether to keep it.

Footwear returned with visible sole wear, dirt, grass stains, trail dust, pet hair, odors, or evidence of outdoor use will not be accepted for return.

Defective or Damaged Merchandise

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Campmor Customer Service as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the product and packaging when applicable

Campmor will evaluate defective merchandise upon receipt. If an item is determined to be defective due to a manufacturing issue, a refund or replacement may be issued.

Non-Returnable Merchandise

  • Face masks
  • Buffs and balaclavas
  • Climbing gear and safety equipment
  • Underwear including base layers (long underwear)
  • Swimsuits and bathing suits
  • Gift cards
  • Any item marked Final Sale or Non-Returnable

Packaging Requirements

Please do not place shipping labels, tape, or stickers directly on manufacturer packaging, shoe boxes, or product boxes.

Items returned with damaged or unusable packaging may be subject to a reduced refund or may be denied.

Manufacturer Warranties

Campmor will assist with returns of defective merchandise within 90 days of purchase when accompanied by proof of purchase.

After 90 days, warranty claims are generally handled directly by the manufacturer.

We recommend keeping:

  • Your Campmor receipt
  • Packing materials
  • Manufacturer warranty information

for future reference.

How to Return Merchandise

Carefully package your merchandise and ship it prepaid to:

Please include:

  • Your completed return form
  • A copy of your receipt or invoice
  • The reason for your return
  • Your contact information

C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted and will be refused.

For damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped merchandise, please contact Customer Service before returning your item. A prepaid return label may be provided when appropriate.

Color Variations

Product images are displayed as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary due to monitor, mobile device, and display settings.

Minor color differences between product images and the item received do not qualify as defective merchandise and are not eligible for free return shipping.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Credit card refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days after processing, depending on your financial institution.

Purchases made by check or money order will be refunded by check.

Shipping charges and expedited shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is the result of a Campmor error.

Exchanges

Campmor no longer processes direct exchanges.

If you need a different size, color, or item, please place a new order and return the original merchandise according to this policy.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact Customer Service within 30 minutes of placing your order.

While we will make every effort to accommodate cancellation requests, orders may begin processing immediately and cancellation cannot be guaranteed once fulfillment has started.

Denied Returns

Returns that do not meet the requirements of this policy may be denied.

Denied returns will be shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.

Customers will receive an invoice for return shipping charges.

Items with unpaid return shipping invoices for more than 5 business days will be considered abandoned and may be donated to a local charitable organization.

Drop Ship Manufacturer Returns

Some products ship directly from a manufacturer.

If returning a manufacturer-direct item, please follow the return instructions included with the shipment. Refunds will be processed after the manufacturer's warehouse receives and approves the return.

Package Delivery & Security

Campmor works hard to ensure every package is delivered safely and securely.

Once a package has been delivered by the carrier to the address provided on the order, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.

If a delivered package is lost or stolen, we encourage customers to:

  • Contact the carrier immediately
  • Check with neighbors or household members
  • File a report with local law enforcement when appropriate

Campmor will assist in providing shipment information when available; however, we cannot guarantee reimbursement for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.
